Simon Dowling Counselling
Simon provides individual counselling for people looking for a safe place to explore personal issues or relationship concerns. Simon works alongside clients, guiding them to uncover their strengths and build positive outcomes for themselves and other people that share their lives.
For people who are looking to invest in their personal development and growth, or wish to work on a particular area of their life, a mentoring or coaching relationship may be more beneficial and Simon can work with you towards achieving these goals.
With a background in creating music and art, creative mentoring and coaching is also available for people who want to take their creative pursuits to the next level and explore the therapeutic benefits of creativity.
Currently in his final year of completing a Bachelor of Counselling with a minor in Psychology, Simon has over 13 years of experience working with families and individuals to achieve their goals. He has worked for many years as a service coordinator in a disability support organisation and holds certifications in disability work, mental health first aid, and applied suicide intervention skills training.
Counselling sessions are currently charged at $50 per hour, but for those who may need financial assistance, a fee can be flexibly negotiated.
Please note that emails may not be able to be returned quickly and if you are booking a session a phone call or message is recommended.
